Place, then wait, then hatch

Hatching starts only after Place Egg succeeds at your own aquarium. The egg appears in the nest and a growth countdown begins. That countdown is not Egg Will Break.

Recorded growth times are not one duration:

Observed egg Countdown after placement
Guided tutorial egg A few seconds, narrated from about 4 seconds down to ready
Later eggs in one hunter session About 1 minute, 4 minutes, and 6.5 minutes on different eggs
One egg the player called strange The player questioned a 2 hour timer
A late egg in that session About 8 hours
A first-episode hatch in a Thai session The player stated 2 hours 40 minutes

Use the number on your egg. Do not plan a route around someone else's timer.

Hatch only at Ready to Hatch

  1. Wait until the label is SIAP MENETAS.
  2. Use Hatch, recorded as E + Menetas.
  3. Read the result card. The tutorial says the fish enters the aquarium. Recordings agree, including a message that a Mackerel was added while the panel count rose.
  4. The new fish is not shown jumping to the hotbar. Unequip it from the aquarium when you want to ride it.

Confirmed single results, not a drop table:

  • A tutorial hatch labeled Common Mackerel.
  • A Tidal Egg followed by an Uncommon Grouper in a recording identified as Bang Kai, Day 4. The weight on that card is that fish only.
  • Sea Tilapia and a seahorse mentioned in creator sessions. Seahorse has no captured Index label, so it is not in the confirmed fish list.

Skip Growth is a different prompt

Skip Growth shows while the egg is still growing. Hatch shows after the ready label. No skip price, purchase requirement, or change to the hatch result is established. Read the live prompt before you confirm anything.

What the egg list can and cannot tell you

An Index card names an egg. It does not mean you are carrying it. Your basket label is the carried egg. The ready label and result card are the hatch. Green luck labels and fish-card "1 in" numbers have no published denominator, so they are not odds.

One rain event changed a carried Coral Egg to a Rays label with Mut[RAYS] x1.5 and the egg was never hatched on camera. No hatch result is known for that state. Deliver first if you want to test it, and keep the carry timer in view.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which fish is the fastest?

No tested species ranking exists. The official description says rarer fish are faster and that rain can mutate a fish to become faster. On-screen speed numbers describe one fish and do not use one shared scale across sessions.

Does a dark Index card mean that fish is unavailable?

No. A silhouette means that account had not revealed the card. The fish tab scrolls, so the twelve named fish are a visible subset, not a complete roster.

How do you swim in Ride A Fish?

Equip a fish and take it into the sea. Recorded play shows no separate Ride button. You are mounted when your avatar sits on the fish and the red Dismount control is visible. One first session only stopped drowning after mounting.

Where do I put an egg?

Carry it to your own aquarium near the SafeZone and use Place Egg at your Egg Box. Another player's aquarium rejects placement. DROP EGG is a different control and does not start the hatch.

Are there working Ride A Fish codes?

No working code is listed, and no expired code is listed either. Reviewed play has not shown a redemption screen, so there is no confirmed button path yet.
